Church to promote secular parties

The Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI) has requested all Christians in India to vote for ‘secular’ parties in the coming elections… Ironically, the concept of secularism evolved in Europe to reduce the influence of the Church on politics and governance!

3M wonders if MNS is a secular party. Its flag has 3 colours – Blue, Saffron and Green to represent Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim hues of Maharashtra… probably it’s the first ‘Secularly Parochial’ party in India!
