SFM, Sun network's Radio Channel, understands the need to get regional in their content. Their Pune station emphasise more on Marathi... something that the more "metroized" radio station have failed to understand!
3M wonders that the Marathi population is Mumbai Metropolitan Region is more than 3 times the Marathi population in Pune... enough potential for SFM to launch a Marathi FM channel in Mumbai. Given the sucess of Marathi TV channels, we can expect a decent response.
