I agree with him about need for constructive instead of destructive measures from Raj. But Rajdeep seems to totally miss out on the root cause of Marathi Manoos's anger. We have to realise that Raj is just riding the wave which others have failed to spot.
3M finds it funny that a person who pronounces his own surname as सरदेसाय instead of सरदेसाई speaks about "preserving cultural identity of Maharashtrians". His usage of words describing himself as a "Goan Maharashtrian" almost gives an impression that he is apologetic about his roots. His anglicised Marathi introduction to the Tendulkar-Gavaskar interview that he "read out" on IBN-Lokmat (a Marathi news channel) almost sounded ShobhaaDesque!

This is a wonderful mail circulating in favour of RAJ Thackerey have a look We all should support Raj Thackeray and take his initiative ahead by doing more... 1. We should teach our kids that if he is second in class, don't study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school 2. नमस्कार सगळ्यात आधी सांगायच तर, सरदेसाई साहेब तुमचं IBN network किंवा कोणताही news channel TRP साठी प्रसिद्ध आहे.पण मला एक सांगा की,तुम्ही सगळे news वाले फक्त मराठी आणि महाराष्ट्र यातील उलाढाली यांचा मागे का असतात? उत्तर प्रदेश मधला लालूप्रसाद यादव याचा गोंधळ आणि कर्नाटक सीमाप्रश्न याच्यावर का नाही जास्त टीका करणारे news दाखवत . माझं मते सगळे news channel वाले हे yellow journalism म्हणजेच TRP साठी खोट्या दाखवणारे असतात.
