L K Advani was in Mumbai to accept a cheque of 11 crores that the city BJP unit had collected for his forthcoming Lok Sabha campaign. A senior BJP leader tried to arrange for a meeting with Balasaheb Thackeray… but got snubbed in return! A Sena spokesperson said that Supremo’s schedule is fixed in advance and last minute changes are not welcome. As the news spread in the media circle BJP tried a face saver by saying that such a meeting was not requested by them in the first place.
