Neither is it a view of the anglicized minority which has lost touch with its roots... nor does it speak for the Marathi masses who may lack the “worldview”. Just a somewhere-in-between viewpoint… but a firm viewpoint indeed!

कशाला उद्याची बात Kashala udyachi baat
First Multilingual song in Indian film industry where the heroine sings the song in 5 languages in addition to Marathi… clearly shows Maharashtra hosting many communities even 70 years ago.
