A blog that captures the happenings in Maharashtra and rest of the Marathi World (Bruhanmaharashtra) through the eyes of a 3M – Madhyamvargiya Marathi Manoos (Middleclass Marathi Man). Neither is it a view of the anglicized minority which has lost touch with its roots... nor does it speak for the Marathi masses who may lack the “worldview”. Just a somewhere-in-between viewpoint… but a firm viewpoint indeed!

A lot of credit should be given to the average Marathi manoos, for keeping national considerations in mind instead of voting for local parties (I am not saying that the local parties are wrong, just saying that the Marathi manoos is sensible and magnanimous enough to think of the nation). Compare this with most other states where people vote for regional or caste based parties and then think if how unfair it is that these same people call the marathi manoos parochial. Incredible... Someone should tell the people from UP and Bihar to stop voting for caste based and regional parties before pointing fingers at others.
