Earlier this week, 3M reported that Marathi was “not OK” in South Mumbai… But now North Mumbai says that nothing but Marathi is OK! Locals in Bhayendar were up in arms against ‘outsiders’ not praying in Marathi… and to the amazement of the readers of this blog, none of the Senas (self proclaimed messiahs of Marathi Language) was involved in this! The tussle is between ‘Local’ East Indian Christians and Mangaloreans over the language for prayers… Konkani or Marathi!
