Even as Maharashtra and Karnataka spar over the disputed border areas, Ramakant Khalap (Ex MP and Chairman of Goa Law Commission) proposed that the Goa borders should be redrawn! This has its origins in the concept of ‘Maha Gomatak’... a state covering all the Konkani speaking areas like Sindhudurg District in Maharashtra and Karwar area in Karnataka.
