Every time Mumbai goes through a crisis… flooding, rioting, terror, infrastructure breakdown… the “Separate Mumbai” brigade swings into action. They will highlight that Marathi Manoos is incompetent to govern Mumbai and
Murli Deora is an old hand at it… Jaya Bachchan is a recent convert… I am surprised that they have not started howling already!
.
Thobad fodun theu aeke kach.
ReplyDeleteThose who are demanding Separate Mumbai will have to compensate with their blood. We won't stay calm, we will draw blood at any cost. There will surely be a havoc raided on those who are demanding Separate Mumbai.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Marathi speaking Bombayite. I was born in Bombay, not Mumbai, I will not let some villagers in Maharashtra ruin my city. It serves the interests of Maharashtra and gets back monkeys as leaders.
ReplyDeleteBombay will be freed of corrupt maharashtrian politicians once and for all, and only Bombay has the right to decide that, not the entire Maharshtra. You are surely not living no-where near Bombay.
y are u being so presumptuous......
ReplyDeletewhen a singaporean suggests the same it is viewed as a viewpoint but when a jaya bachchan suggests the same it is viewed as a prejudiced stand...
Its weird, jaya Bacchan (bahaduri) was brought up in Nagpur, studied in FTII in Pune and lived in Mumbai all her life but would consider herself a bengali or a Upite.
ReplyDeleteAmitabh made a very tactful remark , how she speaks Marathi, when she is talking to her 'servants.'
Where did we Maharashtrians go wrong ? Were we too tolerant unlike someone like the Tamils or less open to 'outsiders' like the bengalis ?
Ability to govern is irrespective of your background - either rural or urban... Personally I feel the best CM we had (Pawar) was from the Rural belt... Manohar Joshi (Only mumbaikar CM) dint deliver anything for the city...
ReplyDeleteand i am not being "presumptuous"... I has happened time and again... just wait and watch... things may be worded differently... like "the city needs a CEO"...
@ first Anon... I certainly do not live anywhere near Bombay... Coz i live in Mumbai!
Kaanfad fodun hatat dile jail ekekachya.konachyahi angat himmat nahi he karnyachi.Jo koni he karel to maar khanar aahe he lakshat theva
ReplyDeletethobad fodun ulta tangu samjalat mumbai vegali karnachi bhasa keli tar samjalat ratavar utrun himat dhakva mag samjali konat kiti dum hai tey.
ReplyDeleteNo use making empty rhetoric... If Marathi Manoos is keen to retain Mumbai in Maharashtra, there should be a concerted plan to do so... The Kannadigas started the process of retaining Belgaum much before Marathis woke up at the time of State reorganisation... Same was the case with The Dangs district of Gujarat which has Marathi majority... stop making emotional statement... put a strategy in place... Samyukta Maharashtra Chalwal needs to be resurrected!
ReplyDeleteMUMBAI BELONGS TO INDIA FIRST
ReplyDeleteAND WE NEED TO PROTECT IT
ALL MAHARASTRIANS MUST
STOP PLASTICBAG B4 IT IS
